Do we still carry the "underdog flag" with this game, now that we've proven we can win without Kalin? I say yes because they beat a more impressive team.
When do you call the season a success? When you grin anytime you think about the tournament win the following day. This season has been a success.
Interesting stat: we are 3-3 this season after a 20+ point win.
I'd say it's more of a toss-up, with no true favorite. Hard to be an underdog with Izzo's tournament success at this point.
It was a success for me after the Maryland game! I still haven't wiped the smile off my face after that one!!!
Haha, and where did that stat come from??? You sensing a 20+ point win?! I think we got most of those wins against Cupcake U and Softie St. and the like, but we haven't had a 20+ point win since January 2nd (Northwestern).
And speaking of winning big...our three tournament wins? A combined 12 points. Last night's UNI win was our most lopsided, a 7 point margin.
Don't read into it - just an interesting stat.
