What a fantastic day, especially after last week's brutal loss. It seems that this team CAN play without Dawson, and play pretty well. It was nice to see guys like Trice and Wood really step their games up in the B1G Tourney. I'm very curious to see if Michigan State can play as well as they did against some of the taller, more athletic teams in the nation (the Kentuckys of the world). We shall see...but for now...

Now onto the tournament. Long Island University-Brooklyn is up first. Keep the momentum going. Let's do this!!!

Digger Phelps picked MSU win the whole tourney. Digger Fucking Phelps. My whole pre-tourney tradition of cursing at Phelps whenever he appears on TV is getting thrown off. I guess I can yell at Dick Vitale, but it just won't be the same.
Oh yeah, and Go Spartans!
Digger Phelps has been on the MSU bandwagon all year long, so I'll give him credit for staying on board. I've seen him say/pick MSU as a Final Four team numerous times on College Gameday.
But yeah, he's an idiot, so that doesn't bode well for us.
It'll be interesting who the PTI guys like. Last year they had MSU in the Final Four (with us as a #10 seed!), so you'd imagine they like us more this year.
