Go Wings!

No offense to Nashville, but this is the series that gets my playoff juices flowing. McCarty and Osgood are back, as is Forsberg...I know it won't ever be the same (at least not without Roy and Lemieux), but I still hate those mother fuckers just because they wear that Avalanche jersey.

I'm actually more excited about this Wings team than the ones the past few years. I feel like we haven't been overhyped, but mostly it's a gut feeling that we might be able to make a run at this year. 4-3 over Colorado is a good way to start a series.

I am really excited for it too. I think the NHL Playoffs are having a great year because a lot of the fan favorites are left: Flyers, Canadiens, Rangers, Avs, Redwings. I think their best case scenario would be Redwings against the Rangers in the finals.

I was surprised to see Colorado's lack of teamwork with the first 3 or 4 goals that we scored. On each one, they had 2-3 guys chase the puck leaving our goal scorer wide open. I was surprised at how quickly they came back - just like the old Avs teams.

Seeing those fights made me remember how lame Hasek can be at times. He wants to live up to his predecessors and fight Roy, but he fell down right before he got to him.

Next time I play hockey, I'm fighting the first guy I see with maroon and blue socks.

I was really excited to watch the game too...

...only I couldn't because I don't get Versus. I had to listen to it on the radio.

I'm glad Osgood replaced Hasek. I think Hasek (and Chelios for that matter) are too old to be playing.

I still hate the Colorado Avalanche more than any other hockey team. I'm glad that we won, but it was way too tense at the end. I want blowouts.

I remember a few years ago when we just destroyed the Avs in a game 7, it was like 6-0. It was great.

I don't just want victory, I want domination.

Yeah, every goal of that game is in that first video.

I think I want every Detroit team to dominate every opponent- regular and postseason.
